Production 4- More Filming

 After Filming for the first time, my partner and I realized that will not be able to film the original plan because of time constraints. We filmed most of the movie in that one session. We had to be very creative when it came to shooting certain angles. There was one wide shot of her entering the house where the camera had to be completely still and at a neutral angle. We took my chair and stacked cardboard boxes to do this. The last shot was continuous for at least 30 seconds where we had to follow her until she slammed the door. This took many tries, and when we finally got it, we all celebrated in cheers.

Production 3- FIlm date

 Unfortunately, I was admitted into the hospital for almost a week so we were unable to film one day. I was not in contact with anyone, so I was unable to contact Genesis to continue working on the project. I had to take time to focus on my recovery also before I jumped back into my schoolwork. Then our lead character was in direct contact with someone who had contracted Covid-19. We have to wait for her to get tested before we can start filming. While we wait, I am trying to organize our filming schedule better so we know exactly what scenes we are filming when we have a chance. If our lead tests positives, we will have to find someone else to be our lead because she will have to be quarantined for two weeks.     The first scenes we will be filming will be at my house. Genesis has obtained the equipment we need to film: the steady-cam and the microphone. The prop that we still need is the pregnancy test which is not hard to buy. Production 2- Casting

We have Genesis's friend, Siobhan, to be our lead character. No one else has responded to our questions to be a part of the film. To continue to be productive, we will film all the scenes with Siobhan first and then worry about the missing scenes later. We are planning to film on December 21st, December 27th, and January 2nd. Some scenes take place in a classroom, so we will have to film those when we get back to school. Genesis has multiple classes with Siobhan, so that should not be an issue to shoot. We will continue to look for other people to be a part of our cast throughout the winter break. We might not need as many people as we initially thought because we believe our film will be too long and will be cut down during post-production.

Production 1- Scheduling

    My niche is organizing, so I started off by creating a calendar in order to keep our plans straight. Genesis is in charge of asking her friends to be a part of our film. Her friends are part of the theater at our school, so that would be our ideal cast. We have a back-up plan if they don't want to be a part of it: we are going to use our friend Jasmine. In our calendar, I have set days during our winter break to film. We have three days so far to film. This might change depending on the casts' availability. I feel good about our plan and think that filming will run smoothly.
