Preliminary Layout

    The name of our film is "The Decision", but the title will not be shown until the end of the first two minutes. The introduction will follow the main character, Mackenzie Young, around during the school day. We will show her hugging a pile of college textbooks in her hands as she rushes through the hallway. A teacher will stop her in the hallway and ask if she made it into her dream school that is a prestigious college; she will respond with a big smile and a nod. Before she walks into class she will be stopped by her boyfriend, and he will ask her how she is and give her a quick kiss before rushing off to class. We will show a time lapse of her sitting in class throughout the day and end off on her in her bathroom. Her mom will not be shown in the first two minutes, but her voice will be heard from outside the bathroom door saying that she is going to run some errands. The positive pregnancy test will have its own shot. Mackenzie will walk out of the bathroom and grab her keys from the counter. The door will slam, and this is when the title of the film will appear.
